    • If a patient wants to learn more about genetic testing, they can call Myriad’s pre-test educational phone line to speak with a certified genetic counselor. This phone number is included in the test kit.
  2. The patient will then need to complete the specimen collection and mail it back to Myriad with the signed TRF AND a front and back copy of their insurance card inside the kit for their sample to be processed.
  3. Once Myriad has received the patient’s sample – turnaround time, billing, and report delivery will proceed as normal.
    • For those that are new MyriadPro users – your results will also be delivered through MyriadPro and you will receive an email when results are posted.
    • After you share results with your patient, they have the option to schedule an educational appointment with a certified genetic counselor at www.my.myriad.com/consults. You will receive a copy of the call notes for your records should the patient pursue this.
